What an amazing human being. I wish I could have met him, I guess one day I will and that will be a grand day. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story Milt, you and Emannuel share a lot of things in common and I am proud that you and CRF stepped in to help. Emannuel finished the race well, maybe before he wanted to but he did what he could to make a difference and now Wesley will start down the same journey. Thank you Father for such a bright example on what it’s like to live a righteous life serving others, especially the children!

I keep picturing the Lord telling Emmanuel with a huge smile, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” And he so surely is.

Thank you Milt, for this story. I really touched me. It’s heartbreaking but yet hopeful. I know that this one will stay with me and will be one of those stories that will come to me at the oddest times to fill my head with questions about the little girl–how is she doing, has she been successful, has she been safe from her environment? Just by telling her story you have ensured that she will be remembered by many people in this world, folks who will pray for her, even though they have never met her. For me it was a very powerful story and one that brought home the truth that we need to support a child and give them a chance to fulfill dreams and goals. We miss you Milt. Thank you.

Milt, this is absolutely wonderful that you and CRF made this happen and now these people can have an abundance of clean running water. In a million years they couldn’t afford to get this to happen, and most likely so many were giving up on Hope… Not now, because they can drink freely, and praise God above that you had the drive to see this through! I’m so proud of you Milt, I’m proud that you are my friend, and that you have the heart of love, that you do!

I want to personally thank you, and each person at CRF who works so hard every day to make a difference in so many lives around the world. Thank you for showing us all how to live a legacy in this lifetime, and one that will keep going for many years after we are gone!

Milt, this is Cathy Hampton from Seattle a quarter of a century ago. I know the crisis is over and you and Barbie are home, but this was *scary* to read! Please give Barbie my love. You’re both in my thoughts and prayers. I rather like where your life has led you in the last few years: it’s fascinating reading about your trips to Haiti and Kenya and the work you’ve been doing there.
