You have hit the nail right on my little pointy head. Too often I have complained about things that make absolutely no difference in regards to the mission of the church. Too often I have been upset about peripherals. Yet my passion is the children, and it bothers me most that it is so hard to find people in the church - especially men - willing to spend time in the classrooms teaching them about God. I tend to judge my own church by the willingness of the people to spend quality time with their children, with our children, bringing them up in the care and admonition of the Lord.

That was a very powerful post! I don't sponsor a child through the Christian Relief Fund at this time; but as a Federal employee, I have designated a portion of my paycheck to be given to the Christian Relief Fund through the Combined Federal Campaign. My goal is to increase my contribution each year. You are doing important work for the orphans, widows, and others in poverty throughout the world. I appreciate it!
