Hi Milt,

I agree with James Jones' comment about your blog entry. I never really thought about "bad news" in those terms, but it is obviously a cycle or pattern that occur (probably too frequently for most of us. Ok, me.)

Your comments really help the reader (ok, me) develop a deeper thirst for The Truth even though it is not always what we would regard as pleasant. That's why, i believe, it is important that we remain watchful and discern the signs of the times instead of ignoring developments we don't like.

Also, you do a great job of spreading the "Good News" too.

Peace,

Glen

Milt,

Thank you for addressing this topic. I believe the Eeyores contribute to being leery of hearing the bad news. However, bad news that it needed truth still needs to be told, regardless of the source.

I like how you handled delivering the bad news when you visited Dimmitt. You talked about the reality of the bad, which upset my comfort zone, but also talked about the reality of God being able to do the impossible through us. It challenged us to not only look at where we were, but where we could possible go with God. I thought that was a brilliant delivery.

Keep telling the bad news, Milt!
